For Sale: Puke
A fishing family in Australia recently stumbled accross some "regurgitated gold". They found a 15 Kilogram chunk of hardened sperm whale vomit. The vomit contains a rare chemical that is extremely valuable to perfume producers. The hunk of puke could be worth up to as much as one million dollars. Click the title for the story.

MMMM Nothing like the fresh smell of whale vomit!
ReplyDeleteApprently, over time. that chemical reacts to salt in the sea and gives off a perfume. It sells for around £11 kg.
