See you in Movember

I just sent this to a bunch of people at work... sorry for the double post / movember overload... blog visits over the weekend plument so I thought I'd get this out during the week.

Movember participants,

This weekend will be the last time your upper lip is hair free!! I?ll be shaving early Sunday morning to ensure I get as many hours of hair growth in Movember as possible? believe me, I need all the time I can get!!!

I just wanted to follow up on a few things left unsettled from the previous announcement email.

Donations: I will collect cash and checks for Lifeline of Ohio during the month of November (please make your checks out to Lifeline of Ohio). Lifeline of Ohio work along side the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates and they?ve assured me that they can distribute any funds directly to KODA on our behalf. I?ll keep two separate envelopes to track donations.

These groups would also like to increase the number of registered organ donors. You can register via their individual web-pages or I have pamphlets available in Columbus which we can deliver along with the donations.

Movember.com: This is the global initiative to raise awareness and funding to fight prostate cancer. We?ve created a group named ?One Team Infinite Mustaches? which you can join to track mustache growth and share grooming tips. They also provide some nice tools to help you raise money for our team. Please join up and ask your fiends and family to join up as well. So far we have 10 members!!!!

Official Rules for Movember from Movember,com

1) Once registered, each mo bro must start November 1st with a clean shaven face.

2) Then for the entire month of Movember each mo bro must grow and groom a mustache according to these rules.

-There is to be no joining the mo to the side burns (that's a beard)

-There is to be no joining of the handlebars on the chin (that's a goatee)

-A small, complimentary growth under the bottom lip is allowed (aka the tickler)
