The Best Shot I've Ever Seen

Click this link to see Lebron's shot to win game two against the Magic.

The shot was better than Jordan's against the Cavs in 1989. It was a three, while Jordan's was from the free throw line. And Lebron had only one second to catch and release, while Jordan had enough time to take a few dribbles before shooting.

Mo Williams, who inbounded the ball, was asked about his options for the pass. He replied with a straight face, "Option A was LeBron, Option B was LeBron, Option C was LeBron, and Option D was Big Game James -- and that's what I went with." Hedo Turkoglu instantly became the Turkish Craig Ehlo.

For the rest of the series I'd like to see the Cavs keep their exact same game plan for the first half. But in the second half they need to pass more and more quickly. Less pointless dribbling at the top of the key. Orlando is going to make some threes, they have too many good shooters to contain. Cleveland needs to keep the ball moving in their halfcourt offense and try to get open looks for their shooters.

  1. Figuring out a way to keep Varejao from having to defend past the free throw line would help too. For the most part he is very good defensively and getting rebounds, but most of that is overshadowed by the fact that he flops around and cries worse than soccer players.

If the Cavs play the Nuggets... Anyone want an over/under on the number of games it takes KMart to throw a punch at him?
