'06 NFL Draft

The NFL draft is one of those great weekend events that gives people a reason to talk about football in the middle of Spring. If you're a Fantasy Football Fiend (F^3) like Ed the first round of the draft is also a great time to get tanked. I'm not totally familiar with the rules of a Draft party, but I know it involves drinking a beer for every pick you get wrong. More importantly, your beer must be finished before the next pick is selected.

Note: Picture for reference purposes only, consuming hard liqour during draft party may result in streaking.

Aside from alcohol poisoning, this years first round should also showcase a number of former Ohio State Buckeye's. A.J. Hawk is the head of the class and is expected to be the first Linebacker in six years to be a top 10 draft pick. Nick Mangold is also the top rated center in the draft due to his overall beefiness and his increadible football mind. Santonio Holmes will probably be the second buckeye picked and could be the first wide receiver chosen. Other buckeyes with a first day chance include Dante Whitner, Bobby Carpenter, and Ashton Youboty.

The Browns have the 12th pick and the Bengals have the 24th pick. I'm not sure who they're going to pick but I'd say they could both use some defensive studs.

Holla Draft!
