What I learned today....

Today I made my first court appearance.... I pled guilty for my client and he recieved a $100 fine for disorderly conduct. Then I learned court costs for his case would be 91 dollars! DAMN!!!

After that I went to the Court of Claims and watch the first part of the Jim O'Brien Trial. I got to see the openin g arguments and the first part of his testimony. It was real cool. OB is a baller, but Im not sure if he'll win his case. There were plenty of refrences to the Final Four Team and Boban....

  1. Cool, glad to hear you are getting some hands-on experience. And regarding O'brien, why the heck did OSU risk its tournament eligibility on a mediocre player like Boban? But you've got to love his brother's name: Slobadon. Sounds like a Polish porn star's name or something...

  2. Isn't Boban's real name Slobadon? He went by it his Freshman year then went by his nickmame Boban b/c he didn't want to be associated with that Milosevic fuck.

Yeah, and why risk so much on Boban. It's not like he was Chris Webber...

O'Brien seems like a nice guy, but one thing I don't miss at all is the boring as hell zone defense bullshit. That can make fans leave the arena quick.

Did anyone see Greg Odem play last week on ESPN? 23 pts. 17 rebounds and 9 blocks

  3. Congrats on your first day of work!

And shouldn't that be "I made my first court appearance *as a lawyer*"?

  4. Word... I thought the post was gonna be negative... i.e. "Today I made my first court apperance... remember that night at Brad's farm... with the animals?"
