Token

Here's a token video game post. First this comic's from penny-arcade.com and deals with Wikipedia which has been in the news lateey since they've altered their policy's a little bit. Also, with Jim's home theatre well on the way to completion I thought this link was fitting. The editor of Joystiq.com talks about his friends impressions of playing games on his 8ft HD screen... mmmmmmmm HD!

  1. I guess it is tough to get truly objective definitions of some things. But a lot of their historical and scientific stuff is valuable nontheless, especially when looking up an unfamiliar topic.

  2. Don't get me wrong, I love wikipedia... also the journal Nature compared entries in wikipedia vs. encyclopedia britanica and found they were largely equal in accuracy and quality. So yea for the most part its always correct... I guess the biographys are where more of the inconsistensies / defacing things happen, like this skelator cartoon.

  4. By the way... another cool reason to use firefox is the ability to add other search engines to your search bar... like wikipedia, so if your browsing another site or reading news you can copy and search for specific words / terms in wikipedia.
