Shawn Kemp is trying to make a comeback to the NBA. I pulled the patron saint line from Jim Rome who used it last night when introducing this story. Also the
Seatle Times has a long story and interview with Kemp. Here's a highlight quote from Shawn discussing the peak of his NBA career.
"To let people know, my peak was never with the Seattle SuperSonics. My peak came the year after I left Seattle with the Cleveland Cavaliers. That was the best year that I ever had playing basketball. I played with six or seven rookies, and we made the playoffs."
As most of you know I'm a huge Shawn Kemp fan. He had so much talent... anyone have that link to the GHHS year book, I guess I'll just search the blog. (There should be a picture of me rocking the Shawn Kemp hair). Remember you can search for old posts when logged and viewing the posts through the standard posting window.
ReplyDeleteI remember you kept his card in your sock... so sad.
ReplyDeleteUmmm... in case no one noticed... I got pretty messed up Friday. I made a few calls, wrote a few emails, and posted some crap. I haven't been that drunk since I got dressed up in my dress uniform, pissed in my stereo, passed out and woke up bleeding from the head... also sad.
