Just like a Taco...

Don't know if I mentioned this story to anyone, but last weekend I went Mountain Biking with Andrew Graft (aka Amanda's Husband). He's super hardcore with a top notch bike and the physical ability to turn a mountain into a little hill. Anyway we went out to Mohican Wildlife area for a ride. My previous mountain biking experience has never really involved rocks, but needless to say this trail had a bunch of rocky areas, and not having a 'full suspension bike' or the heart/lungs/legs that I used to made it difficult for me. To be honest, I spent more time off of the bike than I did on it. This was in part due to me being out of shape, and also because I thrashed my bike. I'll try and get a picture of this weekend just so you can see the damage. After crossing over a little bridge my front tire hit the ground first and I went over the handle bars. My landing was somewhat graceful, but when I got up I had turned my front tire into a Taco! From then on I had to hike my ass out of the woods with my bike on my back. At that point I was actually happy cause I didn't have to bust my ass to get out of the woods... Instead I could mosey out at my own pace. Anyway, now I have an excuse to step into the 21st century of bike technology. You guys have to see the bike...

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Oh yea, Brad... Paki is short for Pakistani (she probably looks 'Indian' to you and I but if you called her that she'd be pissed). As for Frog, I'm not sure what that one is, you'll have to enlighten us.

Also, I went to promowest last night and was entertained by the musical sty-lings of Cake. I've always enjoyed their music and kind of wondered how they would perform them live. They were a really polished, tight nit band. Their horn player / synth guy rocked, and everyone rocked the background vocals.

GRANDVIEW FOOTBALL RULES!!!
