Fairly sure I could see the Gulf of Aden, Italy then Great Britain - wasn't able to identify any shots of the U.S. The green waves floating in the atmosphere were wierd - was that something to do with the electro-magnetic field? The shots of storms and flashing lighting show how natural electricity really is.

  2. I'm with you totally surreal to see the planet from this perspective. Here's a direct link to one of the original nasa pages. This has separate clips with a little description of where the "runs" take place.

    Here's a screen capture I pulled from the video above. Link to flickr image. There are a couple of places where you can see Columbus / Ohio. The great lakes always jump out as a good reference point in the night flights.
