I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Spring and Mr. Lobao for taking me to my first ever Cinco de Mayo - at Don Pablo's. That night i was introduced to blunts, corona, easy American girls, outdoor parties in the lennox carpark, and the ease with which 5 cases of beer and 50 ft of bunting could be stolen and thrown into a topless jeep with the culprits all holding onto the side as there was no room inside.
I tried to stop Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from deporting a Guatemalan lady for using a fake ID to try to get a job. She has an 8 month old son and no prior record and now they are sending her back. The child will probably go with her, but it is a sad reflection of the current state of our immigration policy in the US.

Truely Mexican!

Two things I learned this Cinco de Mayo:
ReplyDelete1. Corona can now be purchased in canned form. Why? I'm not sure.
2. Bud Light Lime is to Corona as Taco Bell is to Mexican food.
