Rock Band Making Headlines

There's been some interesting developments in the Rock Band world. First, Motley Crue decided to release their new single on Rock Band. Check out the NPR coverage. I'm not a huge fan of the crue... but releasing a song via a video game two months before you can buy it anywhere else shows what kind of pull the rock band audience has.

Morning Edition, April 17, 2008 · The title track from the soon-to-be-released Motley Crue album Saints of Los Angeles isn't available in stores — or on iTunes — until June 17. It's the first single to be released exclusively through a video game.

The next piece of news is that Full Albums will FINALLY be coming out. Judas Priest's Screaming for Vengance will retail for $14.99. Still no word on The Who's Who's Next or Nirvana's Nevermind!?!?!? The Cars Self Tittled Debut will be out soon... might have to get that one for some 80's night action.
