Tis the Season...

for snarfin the nar! That's right, the gear guides are out, Vail has just been lagniapped with 27 inches of the fresh and fluffy stuff and Lake Tahoe is primed to have one of their best years in over a decade.

With all this in mind, I've begun planning what should turn out to be one of the best skiing trips of all time! Over the years I've had quite a few people show some interest in a ski trip, so I'm trying to get a vibe as to how many people are actually into it. Certainly the more the merrier but the time to lock down a number is rapidly approaching. So I've done some research and here are the details as I have them so far:

I'm looking at Feb. 28th- Mar. 3rd (Thur.- Mon.) which would cause most people to take a couple days off work. After researching several ski areas I went with Lake Tahoe because of the proximity to Reno's airport, their casino nightlife and their annual snowfall of 460 inches compared to Colorado's average of around 300. The total cost of the trip will be approximately $800-1000 depending on where you're flying from and how early you can book your flight. Any rental equipment would be an additional cost.

The more people we can put together typically the better rate we can get as far as lodging so if you don't ski but you have friends that might be into it, please make them aware. This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy an amazing ski vacation with your friends in arguably the best ski resort in the country. Please feel free to email me with any questions, concerns or confirmations at brodywakefield@yahoo.com and I hope to see you guys out there!

P.S. Unfortunately, time is of the essence so I'll need to get confirmations by October 2nd. Thanks!
