Experience ESPN2 College Game Day, SOCCER STYLE! Bring your VIP's to our game on Thursday, April 19th as the Columbus Crew take on the New England Revolution. $25 per person includes All-You-Can-Eat Brats, Dogs and Beer from 5:30 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. (7:00 PM Kickoff) in our Stadium Club and a terrific seat on the lower level of the East Side of Crew Stadium. Record the game at home and look for yourself on TV!

Wow - this sounds like trouble.. although the 80 minute free beer window might help maintain some degree of order (can you say "Power Hour?") - wasn't there some infamous night at Cooper stadium that started out along these lines?
ReplyDeleteSeriously! Maybe I'm getting my stories confused but this seems similar to the 5-cent beer night at Cleveland stadium back in the day.
ReplyDeleteOf course this is a little different, it's drinking in a contained area just outside the stadium (their tailgate tent). And it's only for a limited period of time... think if you could go back for halftime?
Anyway, should be fun... did you catch that first line "Bring your VIPs"... maybe a who's who of Columbus residents will be in attendance.
