Beware of Bowling Green, Kentucky. It is home to the Corvette Hall of Fame, but not much else. My car broke down there on my way to visit Pat last year. It was the alternator, which my brother told me costs about $50 and can be installed in about a half hour. So you can imagine my shock when they quoted me $311. Left with no other options I paid up. At least the total was one of my favorite band's name.
We got back to C-bus Sunday night... after several racks of ribs and several holes of golf... the trip was a success.
We partied with local celebrities Boog-a-funk and drank multiple pitchers of Yuengling.
Buy the way Traci completed her second half marathon over the weekend (Sorry I missed your race Traci). She dropped her time by 15 minutes, so she improved just over a minute per mile.
Have you gone through Sommersville yet? It's got a church and a gas station. Have fun in Mike Huntsville
