
...seen tne Northern Lights? I finally got the pictures from the other "Alaska" guys. It appears Chad's studying on how to shoot the "Lights" paid off. If the picture appears a little grainy it's cuz this is a film to digital. I have to get the negatives to go above (effectivly) 3" by 5". Hope y'all like... (P.S. Erick, its time you show me how to upload to Flickr)

ReplyDeleteDope. I recently saw a special on PBS that explained how the Northern Lights are produced when some of the sun's rays reflect off of the earth's magnetic field. The magnetic field reverses every 100,000 years or something. We are due for a change possibly within the next 1,000 years. Supposedly, when the magnetic field is in the process of reversing there will be similar light shows at varying locations all over the globe.
