I hope most of you got to watch the best Monday Night Football since 1985, where the Bears came back to win from a 20 point deficit, and they did it without scoring an offensive touchdown. Brian Urlacher is Zues of the trenches. Anyway, it was an awesome game, but a rattled Matt Leinhart said the phrase "You Know" 30 times in the post game conference. I even did the rewind to double check. I hope he's at the stadium January 8th when the Buckeyes rollover his alma mater for the National Championship, and I'll say ahh "you know." I tried to find a video but lost interest, someone try to find it.
Evildonk out!!!!!
Yeah that was a great game - it's a rare treat to see the Bears down here in SEC/Titans/Falcons country - I liked the espn summary this morning - in Bill Waltonesque fashion, they summed it up: The Cardinals didn't lose because they're jinxed, but because they can't block. Or put another way "It's amazing how many offensive linemen in the NFL can't block."
ReplyDeleteYou know, like, I almost took the Bears (money in the bank) +11.5 line in Vegas this weekend, but, like, you know, I'm glad I didn't, you know.
I got lucky in fantasy football, thanks in part to Leinart and the Bears offense / Cardinals D (Berrian only put up 3 fantasy points.
ReplyDeleteJimmy, you delusional fuggin' hussie! How on God's green Earth do you figure those gay little nutties are going to be in the National title game after they get trounced by the Mighty Wolverines?
ReplyDeleteP.S. It's Z-E-U-S not Z-U-E-S you primitive baboon. Good thing you gave up that teaching gig.
P.S.S. Congratulations on your Hall of Fame induction, I knew all those years in a singlet had to payoff one day.(ZING!)
Gorman,
ReplyDeleteThere is no easy money in Vegas. I found that out last weekend. The Pitt came through for me on Friday night. Michigan (sorry, I thought it looked like a sure thing) just squeaked by for me on Saturday and Florida fucked me over.
So while I came out ahead in NCAA football, 3 days of gaming had me leaving on Sunday morning with less money than I started with. I seriously considered "winning my money back" on the Bears on Monday night. Thank God I didn't take that bet!
