Who can cover Chad? Sports Illustrated can. Isn't it great how SI has had the Buckeyes and Bengals on the cover like ten times over the last year. Anyone see that pass on 4th and 1 last Sunday againt Carolina? Ballsy.
In other sports news, St. Louis took a 2-1 lead over Detroit in the Fall Classic. I'm sure all of the Cardinals fans who regularly post on this blogg (Nowa, Ed, Al) are pleased. Personally, I enjoy watching the Cards shortstop, Eckstien. He is just so damn scrappy. He's a scrappy scrapper. And I have noticed that ex-Indian Ronnie Belliard is a virtual identical clone of Manny Ramirez, only smaller. They both played for the Indians, both have the same relaxed batting stance, both are from the Bronx and both rock the Puerto Rican braid/fro combo.
It's been a while since I've watched baseball. I used to always watch the world series... but anymore I feel like I don't have the time or the desire to make the time to watch.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick a winner I'd go with Detroit for the whole Cinderella story. But I do enjoy the cardinals... Pujoles is sweet. I remember being a huge Ozzie smith fan... oh well, the NFL has become America's pastime INHO.
Not Chad, it's ocho cinco this week.
ReplyDeleteDo you ever listen to the Bengals on 700 WLW? The announcers are the biggest homer announcers in the history of broadcasting, it's awesome. "Go Rudi GO! Yes! First Down RUUUUUUUUUUDI Johnson!" The Bengals v Falcons should be one of the better games this weekend.
Brad clearly you arent paing attention - the annoucers call the skiller players by their first names only..
ReplyDelete"Rudi lines up in the I with Chad split right, TJ in the slot on the left.... Carson goes for the snap, and HOLY SHIT ALL FOUR GUYS BREAK THIER LEGS AT THE SAME TIME.... Omigod the horror.... AND THEY GET RUN OVER BY THE AMBULANCE.... What a horrible day for Bengals, and great day for ALL the HATERS"
Those 700 WLW guys are total homers. But I like the quote of local sportscaster, Brian Giesensloff, who hosts an interview with Chad every week. He said, "Chad Johnson is TV gold."
