You can check out the video for RHCP's first single Dani California on MTV. It's mostly performance shots, except they dress up like a ton of different bands that influenced them... from Elvis, to the Clash, Hendrix, P-Funk, The Misfits, Beatles, Nirvana, David Bowie, and a few hair bands. Eventually they come together in the end to form the current day peppers. Also this song may signify the return of the guitar solo on the mainstream radio (at least until Britney's new album comes out). Only a few more weeks and we'll probably have one of those "soundtrack of summer" albums.Thank you RHCP!
They've also released summer tour dates, minus the dates.. They're coming to Columbus and Cleveland while neglecting the Bible Belt.. I think Columbus may honestly be the closest they're gonna get to Huntsvegas.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you preorder Stadium Arcadium from iTunes, you'll be able to buy tickets early.. and if you're a gold/silver member of the fan club (whatever that means -- Jared, you out there? -- they'll be in Portland too) you can buy tickets even earlier.
And last, but not least, Tool's first single will be out the 17th.
