Stewards shot at Kanye West gig

Hello, and welcome to the first ever blog posting from London, England. I'm down here in our office in the big smoke but haven't forgotten about you guys. Everything I have ever patronised you yanks about gun crime is about to come back and bite me.



Two stewards have been shot during a concert held by rapper-producer Kanye West at the NEC in the West Midlands. Police said the shootings took place after people who tried to gain entrance without tickets were escorted from the arena near Birmingham on Tuesday. Click the Link for the full story.

    So you guys don't get patted down when you walk into a concert facility do you? At most of the major, large-scale venues here you have to pass through a security check before you show your ticket. Anyway I love this quote from the detective...

    "Over 12 thousand people were at the NEC last night - it's only one of them who decided to go out with a loaded firearm and use it in this vicious and cowardly way".

    Using a gun doesn't make you "hard", it makes you stupid... use your fists.
