At least the chairmna has seen the light, and the plight, of newcastle united fnas and sacked Souness. Last nights 3-0 defeat to Manchester City was woeful. The defending was an absolute joke with me and E-lo being more capable than Boumsong and bramble in the heart of the newcastle back line. That's nearly £15 million worth of players there - jsut so you know.We now must pay souness and his bunch of no-good cronies around £5million in compensation before trying to find someone to take the hot seat n the soap opera that is Newcastle United Football Club. Why anyone would want to come to our club, 50 million in debt and only 6 points fomr the relegation zone, with a support base of fans demanding immdeiate success after years of shitty management is beyond me. If we are still in the EPL by the time of E-lo's wedding i will kiss brad's rusty ring hoop.
He never seemed like a "players" coach and filling in Bobby Robson's shoes must have been dificult. Looks like the mighty Shearer will get his chance.
