Cell technology
I'm so proud of myself for posting this before Erocka. IBM is using the processor for the PS3 in some of it's new servers. It sounds like one bad dude.

Nice one! According to this article it will be great for high-end video processing... but isn't likely to find its way into standard desktop PCs. Now that I think about it, its been a while since I've dropped a tech post... maybe this weekend I'll drop some more news on PS3.
