Ask And Ye Shall Receive

This year has the potential to be a great, great year in music. The new Tool album is rumored to be released on May 2nd, and, contrary to other rumors, won't be called Elephtheria or have tracks named: "Greed Lies", "Psychiatrical", "Karma", and "Feminist Souls." The RHCP album will be out sometime this spring, Audioslave will be back in the studio, and....

None other than Rick Rubin is producing the next Metallica album! If anyone can bring out the best in Jaymz and the boys, it's gotta be that man. The web site offers photographic evidence - apparently he lost his shoes, but not his beard, somewhere in CA.

Also, it looks like Tool, RHCP, and Metallica will *all* be touring this summer too, but they will *all* be in Europe. How does that work? Brit Boy - I think you may need to do some on the ground reporting and bring it back across the pond for us.

And last, and probably least, Chevelle (despite being relatively new) is a solid band - all brothers (or at least 3 of 'em), and inspired by Tool.

nickleback sucks.

  1. So we do get some sweet CDs this year but it doesn't look like any of these twats are coming within 500 miles of Columbus. WTF
