I saw a really good movie last weekend, Lord of War. It follows the life of an international arms trader. The movie makes light of a disturbing situation by presenting it in a comical fashion. For example, Nicholas Cage, the gun runner notes how the country of Mozambique has an AK-47 on their national flag. Could you imagine? I mean, maybe if MC Breed was the President, but otherwise it would be rediculous to put a machine gun on your flag. Anyways, it's a great flick, and I recommend renting it if you get a chance.

ReplyDeleteIt's crazy to think about living in a place where an AK-47 is part of your everyday life. After the Palestinian elections... Hamas supporters were out in the street letting off rounds.
