Apple unveils iPod phone hybrid

i hate iPods, i really do. They took away my free mp3's and packaged digital media in such a way as to push it onto a public ready to consume anything...whether they understand it or not. Mostly not. I should work for Apple the amount of iPod problems i have solved for FOOLS who don't know how the thing they have spend £300 on works. HOWEVER, for a long time i have wanted a device that combines a phone, mp3 player and camera all into one, pocket sized device. This technology has been available, and this combination possible, for some time and so i have wondered why it has never happened. I'd be one of the first to snap one up if they did. Now apple appear to have seriously clubbed together with motorola to solve 2 out 3 of the problems.

  1. The nano looks really cool... it uses flash memory instead of a hard drive and its supper thin... kinda like an ipod shuffle with a screen. I'm with you on the ipod hating... but I use the Itunes music store to buy my music... so I'm kinda tied to the ipod... also I've been sucked into the "asthetic" of the ipod... the UI is clean, simple, fast. Oh yea here's the phone I'm holding out for... only a month more to go... maybe.

  3. That thing seems to be money, all it needs is a projector to create a big screen TV and a tap with an endless supply of your choice of cold beverage.
