Sports Blurbs

The Tribe is tied with the Twins right now 3-3 in the 7th. But last year's Cy Young winner, Johan Santana, is on the mound for Minnesota. Hopefully Cleveland can make it two in a row over the division favorite and start to make up ground on those pesky White Sox.

The Spurs clinched another trip to the finals last night, beating the Suns in 5. Their international stars proved too much for the run-and-gun Suns. Now the brutal balllers from the East have to battle for the right to play for the NBA Title.

In other news, the Cavs have a new coach, Mike Brown. And Jamall Lewis just got out of jail so he should be primed to run for another 500 yards against the Browns this year.

Also, if you are reading this, we're glad to have you back Rob, safe and sound.

Jeah Dogg!?

  1. This is strange... but ESPN is reporting the Larry Brown is planning on becoming the next President of the Cavs organization. The articles here...

Next Cavs president? Brown plans to take job

Can you imagine retiring from coaching to be the president of the cavs... retire from one job that pays you millions, and start another that pays you millions.

  2. Larry Brown doesn't seem to like to sit still for long - he's only been in Detroit for two seasons, right? I guess his health may be a factor though. I don't know about you, but I was hoping for an all offense finals - Heat-Suns - but with Miami's win last night, maybe we can still avoid the all-defense sleeper that would be a Pistons-Spurs series. Although really, as long as no one let's Steven A. Smith within 100 yards of TV camera, I'll be happy.
