I'm in! I love drinking holidays!!
Don pablo's is alright, its close and convenient... nothing beats drinking in a parking lot! They've really changed their set up after the first year; probably in response to Joe, Pat, the Brit, Traci and I walking home with a couple cases of corona.
Wasn't that night the same night that someone (presumably a genius) came up with the idea for the Pig Roast? Also, we were supposed to get a free drink ticket or two upon paying admission but Sergio who I used to work with hooked us up with about 20 tickets each.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Spring and Mr. Lobao for taking me to my first ever Cinco de Mayo - at Don Pablo's. That night i was introduced to blunts, corona, easy American girls, outdoor parties in the lennox carpark, and the ease with which 5 cases of beer and 50 ft of bunting could be stolen and thrown into a topless jeep with the culprits all holding onto the side as there was no room inside.Truely Mexican!
what time is the kick off? i love when history plays a major role in our drinking celebrations. Viva la Mexico!!
