Now that British Summertime is upon us (i.e. it's now lighter and wet, as opposed the british winter time = dark and wet) I have spend all my monthly beer allowance on this bike . I'm gonna ride it into work everyday and get super-duper fit! However i also want to spent my weekends getting covered in mud like the good old days when E and I would tear up Alum Creek, and have to sit in the woods for a few hours until we'd recovered enough to get back on. Ahhh yes.
On another note, becasue i'm a lonely spinster i don't have anybody to go on vacation with. I think i have a week of holiday time to use up before the end of July (when i then get a wnole new batch) and am pondering whether i should return triumphantly to the Hogg roast. I've heard it has now grown way beyond the friendly, family atmosphere i once knew it as and am concerned that upon my return my roasting subjects will not know who the hell i am!
I wouldn't worry about not knowing people there... I probably know about 50% of the people there, the rest are just randoms. By the end of the party it doesn't really matter anyway... everyone becomes family. What are you gonna do without your shag'n tent... do you have any pictures of that thing? I owe you some hospitality for my stay over there... so come on back. I still haven't posted a picture of my taco-tire bike... maybe this weekend (I need a new one). What else would you want to do if you came back... how long would you stay... other people should be back for the roast too... that reminds me... you could win the 'farthest traveled award'.
