Crosstown Shootout

Columbus has Ann Arbor. Cleveland has Pittsburgh. Cincinnati has... well, Cincinnati. UC plays St. Xavier tonight in the long-time Southern Ohio rivalry known as the Crosstown Shootout. It is similar to when Notre Dame played Miami in the 80's and the game was pitted "Catholics vs. Convicts." It will be on ESPN2 at 9:00 tonight if you care to watch. Keep an eye on UC's point-guard Jihad Muhammad (that is seriously his name). He's about 5'10'' with shoulder length dreadlocks, and he pulls the trigger like a crazed terrorist: anytime, anywhere. But the game will be won or lost in the trenches down low, between Justin Doellman and Justin Cage of X and Eric Hicks and Jason Maxiell of UC.

  1. Does that douche bag Bobby Huggins think wearing a suit makes people think he's not an alcoholic? Fuck UC - Go Catholics!!!! Last year during the NCAA tournament at Nationwide there was a mom of a UC cheerleader in the section next to us. I heard her say her daughter wasn't going to cheer b/c her stunting partner took a pipe to the head at a Clifton bar and was in intensive care

  2. Jihad for life! I don't understand the geographic differences between the schools. I know UC is more or less centrally located... where is Xavier? Are both teams in conference USA? Lets be real though... this is no Duke-UNC match up, although I'm sure everyone in Cinci is going nuts. Did anyone see Notre Dame upset BC? I watched about 5 minutes. Shit... the tournament probably starts up in a few weeks. Anyone know where the regional games are held this year... anyone interested in a road trip?
