Sorry for the lack of recent blogging, but here goes nothing. E, her sister and I went to the Big Apple two weekends ago. It was cool, we rode the subways extensively and managed to not get pick pocketed or puked on. My buddy Greg from OSU is living there now. He pays over a grand a month for a place the size of my bathroom on the border of Manhattan and Harlem. We went to my uncle's grade school friend's restaurant in Little Italy, Forlini's. It's real close to the New York Supreme Court and the N.Y. Federal Court. When my uncle told him I was in law school he said he had some "connections" in NY. When I expressed doubt regarding the difficult NY bar he suggested I just buy a passing grade. Then Uncle Pauly and Tony walked in and put their nuts on the table right next to us. O.K., that last part was a bit of a fib, but there was a signed picture of Chris from the Soprano's in the restaurant.
Anyhooch...
Andy, I appreciate your Blogs from the other side of the globe. All those Olde English words you use make me feel like I'm reading something old and important. Hopefully, Erin and I will cross the Atlantic sometime within the next few years.
In other news,
the Buckeyes blow goats. Tressel's first year with his own recruits is not looking good. Cooper may have sucked as a game time coach, but he sure knew how to get the really big, fast criminals to sign to OSU. I say we buy each major recruit an SUV and give them Jason Nay's phone number in case they need some "stuff."
Go Red Sox!
