Let's get things started Friday night at Seth's.

In the front yard, Grandview takes on Harvest Prep. Grandview is 1-2, Harvest Prep is 0-3. Plenty of cooler and ice space available.

Then there's all kinds of great action on Saturday.

Wisconsin vs Fresno State, Oregon vs Purdue, UCLA vs BYU, and what could be the most ugly D-1 game outside a random MAC or a bottom rung Pac-10 match up... Michigan vs. Notre Dame. First year Michigan man Dick Rod vs Beer Olympics and Jabba the F.U.P.A. This should be fantastic.

Oh, and in case you've missed the constant in your face from the World Wide Leader, OSU vs. USC. If there's no creativity on offense and nobody can wrap up a tackle as witnessed against Illinois last year and against the mighty-mighty pussycats of the Hocking last week,it could be a long night for the buckeyes.

I have no doubt Beanie will go bullshit for 150 and 2 or 3 TD's, and the filthy
Sanchez will get knocked around a bit, but unless the buckeyes can score touchdowns, not field goals, early and often, the Trojans will get the win.

And in the big finish (Apologies to Tony and Wilbon)

Happy Anniversary... September 11, 1985. On this day 23 years ago, Pete Rose hit a record breaking single, hit number 4192, to left-center field in Riverfront Stadium.

  1. I wish I could come up, but I am probably going to have some peeps over and cheer on the Bucks in the Nati. I would like to see Pryor get some playing time, but it is a bit dangerous playing a freshman that rarely throws the ball deep downfield. USC's pass attack scares me... they don't call it a "west coast offense" for nothing. Hopefully Beanie will sac up and the D will put some big hits on their skill positions.
