Just got knocked out at risk. Andy and Jim's western dominated treaty have overwhelmed the under developed regions of the world... but mighty Asia hangs on!!! Viva la RISK revolution!
The three remaining leaders, Seth, Witt, reached a truce and ended the game peacefully. If I remember correctly, Witt had the most troops, but Jim had the most territories.
By the way... we played without two crucial rules.
1) After winning a territory in battle you can move as many troops as you want into said territory... however you must leave at least one back to occupy.
2) At the beginning of each turn each player should have received at least three troops.
This made Ed and I get out quick... and made it difficult for the remaining guys to really go on the war path. Anyway next time we'll play Axis and Allies (probably mid 2008).
